The biggest thing for me was the difference in outside speed. I mean there is no way that these players from SIU are that much faster than we are, but they just had outside speed (that we could not match) on both sides of the ball. On the OC, why did you stop running outside? You need more diversity in the run game. I think I know the answer ... OL. Or lack there of. They are fine for an off-tackle play, or about 1 second of passing, but after that Mays is getting pushed out of the pocket. On the DC, do we not have the ability to limit our blitzing? Are our ends not capable of run and pass coverage? Can anyone stay home, or is trying to sack the QB the only way we can stop a pass?
