At least a good special teams guy to start but at 6-3 wouldn't be hard to see him at 235 in a year and playing some LB.  gotta love 1AA and things like "partial scholarships" and "preferred walk-ons"

Everybody needs depth and special team players, but I think Alex Howard has potential to contribute on D.  He had a ton MAC as well some ACC, Big 12 and Big 10 interest.  Missed 4 games as senior hurt recruiting but can carry much more than 210 at 1AA level.
