YSU vs CMU mens B-ball

Down 7 at half and playing their worst floor game.  14 turnovers in the 1st half and giving up 8 offensive rebound is not a recipe for w's.

Tough loss in 3 OT 100 - 94 .   Wasn't crazy about the offense with point guard going iso most of the 2nd half.

They did battle and this was an emotional loss since they had a chance in the 2nd OT to ice it but 2 missed ft killed us.

Pedersen with 6 blocks.  Love having a rim protector and he was on a bad ankle.

Shame to lose a game like that.  Would have been a big win for this team.  Turnovers were a killer, especially in the first half.  They had 20 more points off turnovers than YSU.  Just seemed like we were out of gas & didn't have the intensity in the 3 OT.

Devin Morgan had his first big game, but made some costly mistakes.  Not only the 2 missed free throws that probably would have sealed it but didn't push it when we had the ball & a chance to win it and instead launched a long 3.

Thought Naz had a really good game & Covington is clearly the leader & best player on the team.  Just didn't get much help from guys like Quisenberry, Hampton, and Simmons tonight.  Noticed Atiba Taylor didn't dress tonight and Akuchie didn't play.  Some nice mins from Anabir, but couldn't stay out of foul trouble.  Pederson had a nice game with the blocks and rebounds, but really need him to score the ball.  He's had a total of 16 points combined in the last 7 games.

Central Michigan picked last in their division of the MAC.  Need to beat this team at home.  I know, YSU was an 8 point underdog and competed.  But, still a bad basketball team.
