Competing and making foul shots.   Today's problem is 12 1st half turnovers.   Cam playing like himself with 13 points.  Asked for more Robinson and got him.  He has 7 rebounds through the 1st half.

Very frustrating.  They bust 3 threes in a row.  Our D is not closing out on the shooters in our zone.  Tyree plays about 20 seconds  because of silly fouls.

Does this team do anything in practice ???? Offensively it's just everyone go 1 v 1 or give it to Cam. Team is just not good right now. Also having Robinson as a 6-5 post man is not ideal.

They should start Haygood with Tyree.  Cam,Braun, and Ferguson.

Should play the 7 footer more. He's maybe the skinniest man I've ever seen but he can run a little.

Really felt it was a game YSU should have won.  YSU had better athletes & are a bigger team that dominated the boards but way too many missed open shots & too many turnovers again.  Improved FT shooting...Tyree going 7-for-7 was impressive.  Braun's FT shooting is puzzling.  He's only 18 of 36 yet is almost shooting that good from the floor.  Cisco still most be hurting.  Not getting many minutes.  They are definitely missing his play from last year.

Felt like that was the most competitive D1 game YSU has been in this year from start-to-finish.  I guess for positives, the opponents score & margin of victory has shrunk each D1 game; gave up 111 to Kent State & lost by 33, gave up 104 to Canisius & lost by 20, gave up 80 to UNC & lost by 13, and gave up 71 to So. Miss & lost by 7.

Really need to find a way to get a win Sunday & head home & beat Robert Morris or it could turn into an ugly stretch

I truly believe there's talent on this team.  Right now they're better athletes than basketball players.  We need the athletes to become better basketball players.   Santiago being hurt has been a setback.  Ferguson looks improved and shows he can run the point.  Hartfield needs to step up and making free throws is the 1st step.

The frosh are struggling but they're being thrown out there early and hopefully this will be fruitful down the road.  Garrett Covington has been impressive.   Need some toughness in the paint.  Robinson provides this but at 6'5" at the D1 level is tough and he'll learn what works.  Silly fouls are killing our bigs.

Team has to stay together and listen to the coaches.  It may not be this year but YSU basketball has a bright future.
