Here is the list, off of nfl.com, of Penguin draft prospects:
93 Derek Rivers DE 9 Youngstown State Sr 6-4 250 3
329 Avery Moss DE 28 Youngstown State rSr 6-3 262 7-FA
629 Kenny Bishop CB 65 Youngstown State Sr 5-11 185 末
767 David Rivers III CB 76 Youngstown State Sr 6-1 185 末

882 Martin Ruiz RB 63 Youngstown State Sr 5-11 205 末
The 4th column is position rank and the last column is projected round as of yesterday morning. Rivers stock is up, while Moss' stock has dropped. The last time we had this many was one of the Marcus Mason years. Kent is way down this year.
Other MVC teams and number of players on the list:
-ILS = 4
-ISU = 2
-MSU = 1
-NDSU = 3
-UNI = 5
-SDSU = 2
-USD = 2
-WIU = 2
- YSU = 8
Largest by far is Michigan with 24, by comparison OSU is 11. WVU a more-than-respectable 14.
go guins:
I feel bad for Avery because that ankle is really hurting his ability to show his stuff they was Derek has been able to show his.
It's nice to have them on the list, but the only other YSU NFL prospect, and he would have been a stretch, was Alexander, but the drugs will do him in. Webb is fast enough, but too small, Brock is too slow, David and Kenny were OK for YSU, but limited coverage skills, and of course, Ruiz, guns are the kiss of death.
We have some BIG holes to fill at DE, but if we find a couple in the new class, we should be a contender again.
