Why not?  We had 4 pretty decent tight ends and didn't need him, but if we have need, he is a player too.

And I'm not saying he can't punt, but tons of guys have played a position and also punted.  Even in the NFL. If I remember Mark came to the program as a TE.  I even recall postes on this blog lamenting we had no punter!  Then Schuler stepped up and became the punter only after being here.

FOOTBALLFEVER:
Burgett has really good hands and is a excellent run blocking tight end. He needs to work on his quickness and speed. Speaking of specialists Nate Needham will be leaving the program and explore other options from different schools

Not surprised with Kennedy and Schuler having taken over special teams duties. Needham was the kickoff specialist. We did just offer a local punter a walk on scholly. Ryan Teminsky from Canfield.
