Okay we are forgetting ourselves here. Our Panther fiends can be outright insufferable when they are riding hot ...many of them even when they are cold. They have turned things around now and next year will be the cockiest of the bunch ...LOL. However, when you (YSU) are 2-11 against a team (UNI) in the past 13-years ...they have a rite, almost a requirement, to be that way.
I think we have always been humble because all of our first 5 coaches were that way. They were able to channel emotions into playing on the field. Wolf was the first outward personality. Also in our glory decade of the 90's we lost the tough regular season games ... more often than not ...so we road into the post season as very low seeds & an underdog. However, Tressel and Heacock seemed to have an unbelievable knack to reinvent themselves in the play-off. The Pelini's and Montgomery seem to have inherited that same gene. I am just beside myself (with happiness) when I watch this team over the past 4-weeks.
