We match up much better against NDSU that we do SDSU. SDSU has a more diverse offense and more speed on both sides of the ball. NDSU has a bit more depth than SDSU.

I do not see our dline as being that good, but they seldom play without lots of help so it is hard to say. They are not getting stood up. Stig is saying that about our D line because of our knights ...Rivers and Moss. I have never really like to call DE's as being part of the line, as TE's are not on the line in today's game. Those two are FBS caliber and improved since they transferred. I cannot say that they will both hear their names called on draft day, but they will both see a roster beyond college ball.

My god you cannot be serious. We have the best D-Line in the conference and probably the best in FCS. Rivers and Moss will be on NFL rosters. Sometimes I'm not sure what game you watch.

chief, IAA said he didn't consider DEs part of the Defensive Line. If that is the criteria you use, then our line is a little less special. I still like our DTs though, and we have a good linebacking core. Can't even imagine how good we would be right now if we had that other LB that was suspended this year.

Also, for the sake of argument, I do consider DEs part of the DL.

I agree, zero rushing TD's allowed speaks volumes. That starts right up front with those guys.

We were yelling "Savon" last couple weeks. I hope we show tomorrow. We need our LB's to stay home and cover TE's and slant passes. We need our secondary to stay home and cover WR's. We need DE's to give the pressure. We need the offense to produce points.

Okay guys, it is Friday...time for the numbers. MY heart tells me 28-10, to make up for last year's debacle; but my head tells me 24-21 good guys.

This will be a major challenge for YSU, SDSU is quick and can score on long gain plays.

SDSU   31
YSU.    17

I hope I'm wrong, but away games are difficult in the MVFC.

It starts up front with the OL. If they can control the line of scrimmage and open holes then YSU wins on a last second FG by Kennedy. 17-14

Very good update on the QB situation:

Davis is a BAMF.  Very refreshing to see.

Such detail in these forecasts!
I don't see how you see YSU getting 28 etc.  They just don't have a QB.  Can't score a bunch without throwing
Unfortunately, I see is something like  17-7  maybe 14-10  bunnyrabbits.

27 - 20 Guins.  Bunnies driving late for game winning field goal when Savon sacks the QB forcing a fumble.  Squiric recovers and rumbles 40 yards to the house.

You're going to need more than a LB to cover our TE. Hes too fast for a LB.
