Overall tough week for the Missouri. I got a chance to watch the Illinois st. and SDSU games. Both Cal Poly and Eastern Illinois looked very strong to me. The 17 point victory Western Illinois had over Eastern Illinois to open the season tells me something..WIU is good

ILS was really "hammered" after losing to EIU. Probably deservedly so, they played poorly; but they still have a Big-10 win under their belts and a win this weekend would not be an upset.

Speaking of Eastern Illinois, that win over ILS and Miami is pretty solid. Miami has not been a great MAC team, but they are good and could probably beat the Guins.

Charleston Southern is hard to figure out, but I see them as a lower-end MVFC club. They had a big win over Kentucky State, who I do not think is at a full compliment of player-scholarships as of yet. Then Florida Sate played 3rd-stringers in the first half against them. So is the first game against NDSU for real?

You are right-on Fever. Cal-Poly continues to rise, while SDSU continues to drop after losing to the Mustangs. Have you guys see those running backs for Cal-Poly. Wow!
Protheroe has over 450 (and he was injured last week).
Garcia is over 200
The QB is over 250 yards rushing alone.

1AA, you don't think the suspensions have anything to do with Charleston Southern's eratic performance, do you?

Charleston Southern self reported to the NCAA that 32 football players purchased books illegally. The players  suspensions are for one game each. Charleston Southern decided to take 12 for one game (Fla. St) and 10 players each for the next two games. Many of those were the 1st team players. Yes, this had to hurt them!!

The NCAA is still reviewing, so other suspensions may occur.

OBVIOUSLY the suspensions have hurt.  That was meant to be a retorical question.
