Guins To Hold Two Satellite Camps
« on: May 11, 2016, 08:24:25 PM »
Fantastic Selections. They are holding a camp in Dayton at Centerville ...while another is scheduled for Upper Arlington ....a power DI school in Columbus. I live in UA, so I will hit up the camp.

I love the idea of a couple of night camps ...Monday Night Football camp and Friday Night Lights camp.

Great ideas.

I have no idea why they are staying out of Western PA. Proximity alone should make it worth a look.

Maybe they are talking to coaches already and we simply don't know that.

We recruit Western PA very very heavily. That area is covered.

Western PA is essentially local and those kids could attend at the camp at the school.  It would be a waste of money to hold a satellite camp in Western PA.  Money of better spent in areas where we want more of a presence.

We don't seem to get great results. I wasn't saying hold a camp there, I'm just a bit surprised how the MAC loads up with these kids and we do not.

Still, an area way down from its football heyday like YTown, but there are gems to be had. We have a good handful of underclassmen lets see if they make an impact. There are some good schools represented on the roster, but not many kids I have heard much about.
