I heard they asked to talk to Carl P. I also heard that Mangino has had 2 interviews and they could be ready to announce as early as tomorrow. What are you hearing?

A very good source told me that Bohl has been released at Wyoming and will take the USD job. Rumors everywhere so quickly. What ever comes has been "in the works".

Still not seeing any confirmation from any other source on Bohl.  Is this for real?

This is just talk from a source. I would not expect this to happen until after next week. If something happens sooner, it would be Carl or Mangino, as they are both finished for the year. Mangino was released.

Still plenty of rumors out there. Joe Glenn endorsed one of his top assistant's from within, but the university wants to hire a outside head coach with experience. The latest I've heard is Jed Stugard from Sioux Falls is the leading candidate but I initially thought the job could involve Youngstown connections. In other news Southern Illinois has just fired head coach Dale Lennon

terry allen left Northern Iowa for a nicer job than Wyoming, then came back to SWMS.

Smart move, He has a good track record that will not improve, or be equaled at WIU.  USD is ready to put money into the program; while I personally see more money going to WIU MBB in the near future. USD could be a recruiting dream at our level. He can recruit well in the Dakotas without even trying and obviously has great Minnesota connections. I wish him well and expect big things from the USD program.

I agree good decision on their part. No disrespect to coach Glenn because he's done a great job, but Bob will be able to bring in the types of recruits needed. This hire cant make SDSU very happy. Even tho S.D. has played us tough in the past..this match-up becomes much more difficult in my opinion
